I dropped by VV II to pick Rael up and maybe goof around for a bit. It was nearly closing time when I stumbled upon the booth of a lovely, home-based cookie shop run by the indomitable Miss Gina. I am, of course — talking about The Russian Cookie House.

Gina makes and sells a bewildering array of chocolate and nut cookies traditionally eaten during tea-time in Russian tables. Unlike their English counterparts, Russian tea cookies are more compact and less intensely flavored, which provide a unique complement to samovar-steeped tea.
I would’ve cheerfully polished off a box of these lovely treats all by myself, but she had already packed up and left the event, so I was forced to share my box with rael :P I guess I just have to call the shop and order more. The Russian Cookie House can be reached at 02-8971115, or via mobile at 0917-8952863.
